How To Tie A Half Windsor Knot

Here is a basic guide to tying a half windsor knot, we will add illustrations soon!

1. Place the tie over your shoulders and round the back of your neck, with the wide end on your right hand side.
2. Make sure that the tip of the wide end is 25 to 30 centimetres beyond the tip of the narrow end.
3. Cross the wide end over the narrow then loop it around the back of the narrow end.
4. Bring the wide end up then push it through the loop at your neck, pulling it back out to the right.
5. Take the wide end across the narrow end, from right to left and then bring the wide end up through the loop at your neck.
6. Bring the wide end town, tucking it through the loose knot at the front.
7. Tighten the knot by pulling the wide end of the tie and down pulling the knot upwards and into your collar.
